Ingredients

  • 3 tsp coffee (liquid)
  • 1 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 125 g butter melted
  • 2 egg lightly beaten
  • 0.6 cup milk

Icing

  • 1 1/4 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tbs water
  • 1 tbs honey

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 160C.
  • Step 2
    Place the flour, baking powder, sugar, butter, eggs, milk, and coffee mixture in a bowl, stir to combine.
  • Step 3
    Pour mixture into a 20 cm bundt pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
  • Step 4
    Allow to cool for 5 minutes, turn onto wire rack.
  • Step 5
    Icing: Place icing sugar, water and honey in a bowl, stir until well mixed.
  • Step 6
    Spread icing over cake.

Equipment

  • 1 bundt pans
Recipe Notes
If honey icing is too stiff add a little more water. Instead of using a bundt pan, you can use a plain round one.
