These are yummy biscuits.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1 cup dry roasted macadamias chopped
- 185 g butter melted
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1 egg yolks
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 200 g dark chocolate chopped
Method

Step 1Combine sugars, flours and nuts in a large bowl.

Step 2Add butter, egg, egg yolk and vanilla essence, and mix to a soft dough.

Step 3Stir in chocolate.

Step 4Place rounded tablespoons of mixture about 6 cm apart on lightly greased oven trays.

Step 5Bake at 180C for about 15 minutes or until browned lightly.
Recipe Notes
Other nuts can be used, such as peanuts or almonds. When cool spread with melted white chocolate.
