The easiest fried eggs - eggs and toast in one. No messy egg rings to wash up, and perfect for the barbeque too. Easy enough for the kids to manage.
Ingredients
- 1 slice bread
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs butter
Method

Step 1Carefully remove a circle of bread from each slice of bread by pressing an upturned, small glass in the centre.

Step 2Melt plenty of butter in pan.

Step 3Fry bread slice and spare bread circle a little on one side.

Step 4Break egg into hole in bread slice.

Step 5Flip and finish cooking as desired.
Recipe Notes
If you prefer eggs sunny side up, flip bread before adding egg so both sides of bread are toasted.
