Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 100g chocolate honeycomb bar chopped
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg lightly beaten
  • 60g unsalted butter melted
  • 1 cup milk

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat the oven to 190C. Line 15 muffin tins with paper cups, or grease the bottoms only.
  • Step 2
    Sift together the flour and salt into a large bowl. Add the chocolate chips and chocolate-coated honeycomb, and make sure they are evenly spread out in the dry ingredients.

  • Step 3
    In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the brown sugar, vanilla extract, egg, melted butter and milk.
  • Step 4
    Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  • Step 5
    Divide batter into prepared muffin tins.
  • Step 6
    Bake for about 20 minutes and cool on a wire rack.
Recipe Notes

Do not chop the honeycomb too small or it will melt into the batter when cooking.
