Ingredients

  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves diced finely
  • 2 brown onions sliced thinly
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 3 Swiss brown mushrooms cut into chunks
  • 50g butter
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 25ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 400g chicken breast strips
  • 200g sour cream
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • fresh parsley *to serve
  • cooked fettuccine *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic, onions, paprika and mushrooms and saute for 5 mintues. Add the butter and stir to combine. Saute for a further 5 minutes.

    Add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt and and chicken.
  • Step 3
    Once the chicken is cooked through, stir in the sour cream and lemon juice. Serve stroganoff with pasta and parsley.
