20 minutes is all it takes to make this tasty chicken and onion stroganoff. Served with pasta, this is easy, comforting weeknight cooking at its best.
Ingredients
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves diced finely
- 2 brown onions sliced thinly
- 1 tsp ground paprika
- 3 Swiss brown mushrooms cut into chunks
- 50g butter
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 25ml Worcestershire sauce
- 400g chicken breast strips
- 200g sour cream
- 1 lemon juiced
- fresh parsley *to serve
- cooked fettuccine *to serve
Method

Step 1Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the garlic, onions, paprika and mushrooms and saute for 5 mintues. Add the butter and stir to combine. Saute for a further 5 minutes.

Step 2Add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt and and chicken.

Step 3Once the chicken is cooked through, stir in the sour cream and lemon juice. Serve stroganoff with pasta and parsley.
