Cheesy dip with spring onions and bacon, served in a crunchy bread shell. Simple and quick to prepare, and delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 cob loaf
- 300ml sour cream
- 500g tasty cheese, grated
- 3 spring onions, sliced
- 3 bacon rashers, diced
Method

Step 1Hollow out the bread cob, leaving a fairly thin layer of the crust only.

Step 2Save removed pieces and cut into bite-sized chunks.

Step 3Mix sour cream and cheese in a bowl. Add spring onions and bacon, and mix to combine.

Step 4Bake at 180C until cheese melts for approximately 45 minutes.
Recipe Notes
I use a Baker's Delight Italian continental loaf for this recipe.
Serve, using removed bread pieces to dip with, then break pieces from the shell to use for dipping.
