Ingredients

  • 1 cob loaf
  • 300ml sour cream
  • 500g tasty cheese, grated
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
  • 3 bacon rashers, diced

Method

  • Step 1
    Hollow out the bread cob, leaving a fairly thin layer of the crust only.
  • Step 2
    Save removed pieces and cut into bite-sized chunks.
  • Step 3
    Mix sour cream and cheese in a bowl. Add spring onions and bacon, and mix to combine.

  • Step 4
    Bake at 180C until cheese melts for approximately 45 minutes.
Recipe Notes

I use a Baker's Delight Italian continental loaf for this recipe.

Serve, using removed bread pieces to dip with, then break pieces from the shell to use for dipping.
