A yummy no-bake chocolate and peppermint cream slice that is easy to make and everyone will love it.
Ingredients
- 500 g sweet plain biscuits crushed
- 395 g sweetened condensed milk
- 250 g butter melted
- 1 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
Filling
- 2 cup icing sugar
- 4 tbs butter softened
- 2 tbs cream
- 4 tsp peppermint extract
Topping
- 2 cup icing sugar
- 3 tbs cocoa powder
- 2 tbs water
Method

Step 1Mix together the crushed biscuits, coconut and cocoa.

Step 2Stir in the condensed milk and melted butter and press into a tray.

Step 3Set in fridge while making the peppermint cream filling.

Step 4Filling: In a bowl mix the icing sugar, softened butter, cream and peppermint essence. Add a couple of drops of green food colouring if desired.

Step 5Spread over base evenly and very carefully with the back of a large spoon. Allow to set in fridge for 20-30 minutes before adding the topping.

Step 6Topping: Mix the icing sugar and cocoa.

Step 7Stir while gradually adding water, until mixture is firm but still thin enough to spread over the peppermint cream filling.

Step 8Spread over filling and refrigerate.
Recipe Notes
I use Arnotts Marie biscuits. I use the low fat condensed milk. Instead of the topping, you can drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top - I do this regularly if in a hurry and it works a treat. Keep this in the fridge, due to the cream in the peppermint cream (this will prevent it from turning). However it is usually eaten so quickly that this is not a problem!
