These are divine, you'll probably need to double the recipe.
Ingredients
- 75 g cream cheese softened
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 825 g canned peaches drained halved
- 1 tbs brown sugar firmly packed
- 2 tbs walnuts chopped
Method

Step 1Combine cheese, cream and vanilla in a small bowl, beat with a wooden spoon until smooth.

Step 2Pat peach halves dry with absorbent paper.

Step 3Spoon cream cheese mixture into peaches.

Step 4Sprinkle with brown sugar.

Step 5Place under a preheated grill, and grill until sugar begins to caramelise and brown lightly.

Step 6Serve warm, sprinkled with walnuts.
Recipe Notes
Peaches can be filled with cream cheese mixture an hour or two ahead. Keep covered in fridge. Sprinkle with sugar and grill as required. Keep a close watch as they can burn quickly. Beautiful served with ice-cream or thickened cream.
