A beautiful, fudgy, caramel brownie. You won't be able to stop at one and it's very easy to make.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 100g butter melted
- 200g white chocolate melted
- 1 cup plain flour
- 330g Nestle* Top 'n' Fill Caramel
- 1 handful walnuts *optional
*Nestle is recommended by Australia's Best Recipes
Method
-
Step 1Grease and line a 20cm x 30cm lamington tray with baking paper to cover the base and up the sides.
-
Step 2Beat eggs and sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer on high for 4 minutes until thick.
-
Step 3Reduce the speed and beat in the tin of caramel, then beat in melted butter, melted chocolate, flour and nuts if using.
-
Step 4Pour mixture into the tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 160C for 40-45 minutes, or until firm in the centre.
-
Step 5Remove from the oven and cool brownie in pan. Then lift out using lining paper and cut into squares.
Equipment
- 1 20cm x 30cm lamington pan
- 1 electric mixer
- 1 baking paper
Recipe Notes
I chopped and added some walnuts for crunch.
These brownies will keep up to a week in an airtight container in a cool place.
