There's nothing more Australian than an afternoon spent relaxing in the great outdoors with a cuppa in hand by the campfire.
Ingredients
- 1 Litre water
- 2 gum leaves
- 3 handfuls Billy Tea loose leaf tea
Method

Step 1Bring the water to the boil over high heat. Add the tea and gum leaves.

Step 2Set aside for 5 minutes to steep. Strain and serve hot.
Recipe Notes
If you can't find Billy Tea at the supermarket, use black loose leaf tea instead.
Make sure you wash the gum leaves before drinking.
