Quick and easy curry puffs. The filling can be made the day before.
Ingredients
- 400 g beef mince
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch garlic
- 3 sheets puff pastry
Method

Step 1Brown mince in frypan, and add onion and garlic.

Step 2Stir through curry and peas and cook for another 4 minutes, then cool.

Step 3Defrost pastry, cut into 4 squares and brush all edges with milk.

Step 4Add 2 heaped teaspoons of filling to each square and fold into a triangle.

Step 5Seal edges with a fork and brush with milk.

Step 6Bake at 200C for 20 to 25 minutes.
Recipe Notes
These are a great alternative to deep-frying. I turn mine over after 15 minutes to brown the bases as well.
Tips to convert this recipe to cook in an air fryer
At step 5 brush with oil or melted butter instead of milk and air fry for a reduced cook time until golden.
