These pies are delicious, especially during the cooler months.
Ingredients
- 3 sheets shortcrust pastry thawed
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 400 g lean beef mince
- 500 g Leggo's bolognese pasta sauce jar
- 1 cup macaroni cooked
- 2 tbs fresh parsley chopped
- 1/3 cup tasty cheese grated
- 1 egg lightly beaten

Step 1Cut each sheet of pastry into 4 even squares, to yield 12 squares. Press pastry squares into 12 lightly greased 1/3 cup capacity muffin pans.

Step 2Heat oil in a medium saucepan, add mince and cook until browned. Stir in Leggo’s Pasta Sauce and cooked macaroni. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in parsley. Remove and allow to cool slightly.

Step 3Spoon meat filling into pastry cases and top with cheese. Gather the corner of each pastry square and twist together to seal well, completely enclosing the filling. Brush with egg glaze.

Step 4Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C using classic bake or pastry function setting, for 15-20 minutes or until pastry is golden and crisp. Stand for 5 minutes before removing from muffin pans. Serve warm.
Recipe Notes
Tip: make a family pie, using a 4 cup capacity pie dish and overlapping pastry sheets on the base before cutting to size.
