A family favourite.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cup plain flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 banana mashed
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 3/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 egg
Method

Step 1Cream the butter and the sugar.

Step 2Add the eggs, bananas and flour with the salt and bicarbonate of soda.

Step 3Bake at 180C for approximately 45-60 minutes.

Step 4Serve hot or cold, sliced and buttered.
Recipe Notes
Cooking time varies depending on the type of oven. I cooked the banana bread in a fan forced oven for a little over an hour.
