A delicious bread filled with tasty flavours. It's so easy to serve and eat. Perfect for lunch, picnics or lunch boxes. Fill with whatever you like!
Ingredients
Bread
- 2 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1 cup water lukewarm
- 1 1/2 tsp yeast
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp salt
Filling
- 1 jar pesto
- 1/2 whole capsicum
- 1/2 cup ham (deli) shredded
- 3 tbs parmesan grated
- 1 cup baby spinach
Method

Step 1In a bowl, mix the yeast and warm water.

Step 2After 5 minutes, add the other ingredients and knead for 5 minutes.

Step 3Cover with clingwrap and set aside for an hour

Step 4Preheat oven to 170C.

Step 5After 60 minutes, knead the dough again for 5 minutes, then roll out to form a rectangle.

Step 6Spread with pesto, then add capsicum, ham, spinach and parmesan.

Step 7Starting with the long side, roll into a long log. Gently curve the log to form a horseshoe shape. Add some slits and set aside for 10 minutes. Brush with milk.

Step 8Place into the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until browned. Cool and slice.
