Ingredients

  • 300g Heinz Baked Beanz can
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 bacon rashers, chopped, fried, cooled
  • 1/3 cup cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp smoky paprika
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg whisked
  • 1 splash of milk

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 200C.
  • Step 2
    Fry chopped bacon and cool.
  • Step 3
Roughly mash beans, then add onion, bacon, cheese and paprika, and mix to combine.
  • Step 4
Add a splash of milk to the egg and whisk.
  • Step 5
Lay a sheet of puff pastry out and cut in half. Spoon 1/4 of the mixture down one side, then brush the non-filling side with the egg wash. Roll over into a sausage shape, seam side down. Cut into fours. Repeat with the remaining pastry.
  • Step 6
Brush tops with egg wash and place on a baking sheet to bake in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
