A nice dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 125 g butter
- 90 g sugar
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 1 apple stewed
Method

Step 1Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat.

Step 2Sift spices with flour, add to creamed mixture.

Step 3Place half the mixture into a greased 20cm tin. Spread with cold stewed apple and place the remainder of mixture on top

Step 4Bake at 180C for 25 minutes. Allow to cool.

Step 5Cover with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
