This is a large pavlova that takes minimum time to prepare, in that it is an all-in-one mix. - warrina

Ingredients

  • 6 egg whites large
  • 3 tsp white vinegar
  • 3 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 cups caster sugar
  • 3 tsp cornflour
  • 4 tbs boiling water

Method

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients into a large mixing bowl, adding the boiling water last.

  • Step 2
    Beat on full speed until very stiff.
  • Step 3
    Spread on a pavlova plate or baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes at 160C, then approximately 1 hour on 150C.
  • Step 4
    Cool in the oven with the door ajar.
  • Step 5
    Top with whipped cream and fruit of choice.

Recipe Notes

Mixed berries and strawberries are good, or crumbled chocolate, or fruit topped with passionfruit pulp.

The time depends on the oven efficiency, so keep a watch on it towards the end.
