Choc chip biscuits.
Ingredients
- 150 g unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup soft brown sugar
- 1/3 cup caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup milk choc bits
- 1 cup choc bits
Method

Step 1Cream sugars and butter together.

Step 2Add vanilla and yolk, and beat well.

Step 3Stir in flour and chocolate bits with a metal spoon.

Step 4Roll into balls and place on baking tray.

Step 5Push approximately 5-6 extra chocolate bits into top of each biscuit.

Step 6Bake at 180C for 10-15 minutes or until lightly golden in colour.

Recipe Notes
Use milk or dark chocolate bits and extra chocolate bits. These choc chip biscuits are the best I've ever made. They never last more than 2 days in my family. When measuring the soft brown sugar I add an extra tablespoon which gives the biscuit a nice dense rich flavour.
