You only need five ingredients to create this delicious creamy chicken pasta that even the kids will love. Better yet, it can be prepped in the morning - just give it a little extra time in the oven if baking it straight from the fridge. - Greer Worsley

Ingredients

  • 400g rigatoni pasta
  • 400g chicken breasts, diced
  • 420g tin condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 300g sour cream
  • 2 cups grated cheese

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Step 2
    Cook pasta according to packet instructions.
  • Step 3
    Cook chicken in a medium frypan until just cooked through.
  • Step 4
    In a large bowl, whisk together soup and sour cream. Add chicken and drained pasta and stir to combine. Pour into a large casserole dish and top with grated cheese. Bake for 30 minutes until golden.
Recipe Notes

Notes:

  • Use any large pasta.
  • I used a combination of tasty and mozzarella cheese.
  • Serve with a green salad.
  • You could add some mixed green veggies to the pasta mix before baking.
