Shhhhhh… no one has to know that you whipped up these incredibly moreish rum balls with just three simple ingredients.The icing on the mud cake helps the ingredient bind together, then simply roll, chill and coat. The dark flecks in these rum balls is from the chocolate drizzle that comes on the mud cake. These delicious treats also make the perfect Christmas edible gift. Ingredients

  • 600g pkt caramel mud cake
  • 2 tbsp rum (or to taste)
  • 60g (3/4 cup) desiccated coconut

Method

  • Step 1
    Crumble cake into a large bowl. Add rum and stir to combine. Roll 2 tsp of mixture into balls.
  • Step 2
    Place coconut in a shallow bowl and coat balls, one at a time, in coconut. Place onto a line tray and chill for 1 hour. Serve.
