A simple and easy way to make a salad. Great served with BBQs.
Ingredients
- 1 Chinese cabbage roughly chopped
- 5 spring onions chopped
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1 packet noodles cooked cooled
Dressing
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbs soy sauce
Method

Step 1Combine all the dressing ingredients in a saucepan.

Step 2Stir well over a low heat until sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool.

Step 3Toss the cabbage, chopped shallots and almonds in a salad bowl.

Step 4Add dressing and mix well.

Step 5Just before serving add noodles and mix thoroughly.
