Nice and easy. Ideal for school lunches, or husband lunches!

- 2 tbs golden syrup
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 cup sultanas
- 5 Weet-Bix crushed
- 1 tsp baking powder
Method
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 180C and grease a shallow baking tin.
-
Step 2Place butter, sugar and golden syrup in a saucepan. Stir over a low heat until butter has melted and sugar has dissolved.
-
Step 3Add egg and remaining ingredients. Mix well and press into tin.
-
Step 4Bake for 20 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
Recipe Notes
Can add peanuts if desired. I only put in ½ cup sugar and it tasted just as nice. Raisins can substitute sultanas.
