Rock cakes for people who don't like sultanas.
Ingredients
- 2 cup self-raising flour
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 125 g butter melted
- 250 g choc bits
- 2 egg beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbs milk
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C.

Step 2Grease baking trays.

Step 3Combine flour, sugar and choc bits in a bowl, then make a well in the centre.

Step 4Add butter, eggs and vanilla. Stir gently to combine. Add milk if mixture is dry.

Step 5Drop heaped tablespoonfuls on tray, allow room for spreading.

Step 6Bake for approximately 12 minutes until golden and firm to touch.

Step 7Stand for 5 minutes, then place on cooling rack.
