An easy slice recipe with soaked, dried apricots and four other ingredients. So easy to make and very yummy.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Angas Park dried apricots diced dried
  • 2 cups Woolworths Essentials Self-Raising Flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 185g butter, melted

Method

  • Step 1
    Soak apricots in hot water for 2 hours then drain.
  • Step 2
    Add sifted flour, sugar and coconut. Pour over melted butter.

    Mix well and press into a greased 30 cm x 20 cm slice tin. Bake at 180C for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and leave in tray to cool.
  • Step 4
    Once cool slices can be cut up as is or you can make a lemon icing to drizzle on top.
