It’s that cold and dreary time of year when many Aussies decide to escape winter and head to Greece to enjoy the sunshine and, most importantly, the food.
While many of us won’t get to enjoy this sunshine, luckily, we can still get a taste of Greece at home.
Zeus Street Greek is launching a product range in Woolies that’s almost as good as a flight to Greece! (I might lie a little, but I am excited.)
Zeus Street Greek Gyros kits: the details
For those who are keen to enjoy a huge Greek feast from the comfort of your own home, Zeus Street Greek has collaborated with Woolies to bring to life the Zeus Street Greek Gyros Kits.
The kit includes everything you need to make Greece’s most popular street food: Greek-style pita, souvlaki seasoning and Greek aioli.
The kits come in a traditional flavour and a spicy flavour, which turns the heat up in the seasoning and aioli.
Plus, if you’ve ever had the flavour-packed rice from Zeus, you’ll also be able to make it at home with the Pilaf Rice Kit.

The rest of the Zeus Street Greek range at Woolworths
Not only will the kits be available at Woolies, but you’ll also be able to purchase a whole range of products to make Greek night easier and tastier.
To spice up your meat and veg, there’s a Greek BBQ rub, and you’ll be able to purchase the souvlaki seasoning on its own.
For sauces and dressings, there are three aiolis: classic, mustard and spicy, and a Greek dressing that’s perfect for Greek salad.
Plus, if you’re a fan of Greek pita, you can buy a 6-pack of the soft and fluffy pita wraps and crispy pita chips to dip into all that tzatziki you’ll be eating.
DIY gyros have never been easier.

When can I buy the Zeus Street Greek range?
While we don’t have an exact date for the launch of the Zeus Street Greek range in Woolies, it should be sometime this week!
Keep an eye out for the range at your local Woolies.
More ways to eat Greek tonight
With new Greek restaurants popping up left, right and centre across the country, it seems Aussies can’t get enough of the Mediterranean cuisine.

From a moussaka that tastes just like Yiayia’s to syrup-soaked baklava (and plenty of tzatziki in between), we’ve got plenty of recipes that’ll make you say ‘Opa!’
