Ingredients

  • 1 can evaporated milk chilled
  • 1 1/2 tbs gelatine
  • 1 tbs drinking chocolate powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cream whipped *to serve
  • 1 block chocolate grated *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Dissolve chocolate and gelatine in ½ cup boiling water.
  • Step 2
    Beat evaporated milk, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
  • Step 3
    Fold in cooled gelatine mixture.
  • Step 4
    Pour into a glass bowl and refrigerate until set.
  • Step 5
    Top with whipped cream and grated chocolate to serve.
Recipe Notes

You can substitute some of the drinking chocolate for instant coffee if a stronger taste is required.
