Made from budget ingredients, they're easy to make and even easier to eat.
Ingredients
- 185g butter
- 1/3 cup icing sugar
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1/3 cup custard powder
Filling
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 tbs butter
- 2 tsp custard powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Method

Step 1Biscuits: Cream butter and icing sugar, add sifted flour and custard powder. Mix well.

Step 2Form into balls and place onto greased oven trays and press with a fork to form biscuits. Bake in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes.

Step 3Filling: Cream ingredients together. Use as required for joining biscuits.
Recipe Notes
I only ever join up as many biscuits as are needed at that time. They go soggy if left joined up for a period of time.
