Ingredients

  • 125 g butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate
  • 1 cup macadamias chopped

Method

  • Step 1
    Cream butter and sugar.

  • Step 2
    Add egg and vanilla essence and mix in well.
  • Step 3
    Add plain flour and self-raising flour, and mix well.
  • Step 4
    Stir in white chocolate buttons and macadamia nuts.
  • Step 5
    Place spoonfuls of mixture on a baking tray allowing some room to spread.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 175C for 15 minutes until light golden and firm to touch.
  • Step 7
    Leave on tray for a few minutes then transfer to wire rack to cool.

  • 1 baking tray
  • 1 wire rack
Recipe Notes

Use white chocolate buttons.

Delicious when eaten warm.
