Ingredients

  • 395g condensed milk
  • 3 cups desiccated coconut
  • 290g white chocolate melts

Method

  • Step 1
Mix condensed milk and desiccated coconut until well-combined.
  • Step 2
Roll mixture into small balls and place on a plate. Chill in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
Melt white chocolate in a bain-marie (or in the microwave) until smooth. Set aside.
  • Step 4
Place 1 heaped tablespoon of desiccated coconut into a pan on low heat. Using a spatula, keep the coconut moving until it has turned a light brown colour. Remove immediately from heat and place in a small bowl to cool.
  • Step 5
Using a toothpick, dip each chilled coconut ball into melted white chocolate. Allow the excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl. Place on a plate and sprinkle with toasted desiccated coconut. Repeat with remaining balls. Chill for 10 minutes before serving.
