These meatballs are so delicious and very easy to make. My grandma made them for me when I was a child and I love to make them for my kids.
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork mince
- 1 egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 4 tsp garlic
- 2 1/2 cups chicken stock (liquid)
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tbs cornflour
Method

Step 1Place mince, egg, breadcrumbs, mixed spice, 2 tbs garlic and 1/2 cup stock in a bowl.

Step 2Mix together and roll into small balls.

Step 3Place a little oil in a frying pan, then add meatballs and cook until brown.

Step 4Add 2 cups of Massel chicken stock and simmer for 45 minutes.

Step 5Just before serving, add 1 cup of cream, 2 tsp of garlic and season with salt and pepper and thicken with cornflour.

Step 6Serve with steamed rice or with pasta.
Recipe Notes
You can substitute pork for veal mince.
