Ingredients

  • 850 g canned baked beans
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp ginger crushed
  • 4 tbs curry powder *to taste
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 seasoning

Method

  • Step 1
    Sauté the onion, garlic and ginger until onion is tender. Add curry powder and spices for 30 seconds until you can smell them.
  • Step 2
    Add tomato and tins of baked beans.
  • Step 3
    Heat through and add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
    Serve with rice and pappadums, toast or make jaffles with the mixture.
