Imagine eating your favourite Tex-Mex foods without sour cream. Well, now you don't have to! Here's the easiest sour cream recipe you'll ever make and it's vegan friendly.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews soaked overnight
- 1/4 tsp sea salt heaped
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 tsp Bragg's nutritional yeast flakes
Method

Step 1Strain the soaked cashews, then pop into a blender or food processor and blitz.

Step 2Add lemon juice, nutritional yeast, salt and cold water, then blend for 5 minutes.

Step 3Store in an air-tight container and serve cold from the fridge.
Recipe Notes
Soak for a minimum of 4 hours.
