Ingredients

  • 425 g canned tuna in springwater well drained
  • 420 g canned cream of chicken soup
  • 1 sweet potato medium
  • 1 potato medium
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup tasty cheese grated

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 190C.
  • Step 2
    Peel and slice both potatoes and boil together until not quite cooked.
  • Step 3
    Place tuna and soup in a small bowl and combine well.
  • Step 4
    Drain the potatoes and line the base of a small baking dish with 1 layer of sweet potato.
  • Step 5
    Add half of the tuna mix and spread evenly over the top.
  • Step 6
    Add another layer of sweet potato over this.
  • Step 7
    Top with remaining tuna mix and last layer of sweet potato.
  • Step 8
    Place the normal potato over the top evenly and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Step 9
    Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake for 40 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling.

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 baking dish
Recipe Notes
For a difference you can add any flavored soup. Serve with a green salad. Use medium to small potato.
