Ingredients

  • 3 tbs vegetable oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped small
  • 150 g mushrooms sliced
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 3 tsp Leggo's tomato paste heaped
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 chicken stock cube
  • 1 dash soy sauce
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 1 packet spaghetti no. 1

Method

  • Step 1
    Heat water in a large saucepan for the spaghetti
  • Step 2
    Add oil to medium saucepan. Heat on low and add mushroom and chopped onion. Sautee until soft and onion is translucent.
  • Step 3
    Increase heat and add the mince. Cook on high until mince is browned. Reduce heat to simmer and add Leggo’s tomato paste, stock cubes, soy sauce and oregano. Simmer.
  • Step 4
    Add spaghetti to boiling water and cook for 10 minutes or until al dente.
  • Step 5
    Drain spaghetti, serve on plates, add meat sauce and top with parmesan cheese to taste. Enjoy!

Note: sauce can be frozen for up to 6 months
