Sausages with Yorkshire pudding.
Ingredients
- 2 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 6 pork sausage
Method

Step 1Beat eggs in a mixing bowl, then add milk and stir together.

Step 2Gradually add flour to the egg and milk mixture, beating until combined and smooth.

Step 3Allow to stand for 20 minutes.

Step 4Prick sausages and place into a greased casserole dish.

Step 5Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes.

Step 6Remove dish from oven, turn sausages but do not drain the fat.

Step 7Pour batter over the sausages and bake for another 25-30 minutes, or until batter is puffed and golden.
Recipe Notes
I always add a touch of garlic. Some minted peas or corn can be add to the batter after resting. Parsley or chives could also be added. The sausages should just fit into the dish.
