Ingredients

  • 500 g green prawns shelled tails intact
  • 1/2 cup coriander chopped
  • 2 tbs teriyaki marinade
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 2 slices lime rind
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chilli chopped
  • 60 g butter melted

Method

  • Step 1
    Mix butter, sugar, chilli, lime juice and rind, teriyaki sauce and coriander.
  • Step 2
    Pour over prawns, stir to coat well.
  • Step 3
    Allow prawns to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Heat a wok or frying pan until very hot, add prawns and marinade.
  • Step 5
    Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until prawns change colour.
  • Step 6
    Serve over rice.
Recipe Notes
I use teriyaki, but kecap manis or soy would probably work well too.
