A tasty Japanese sauce. Great with chicken, beef, fish and tofu.
Ingredients
- 3 tbs cornflour
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine optional
- 2 cups beef stock (liquid)
Method

Step 1In a small saucepan, stir together cornflour, soy sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger.

Step 2Stir in wine and stock.

Step 3Cook over medium heat, stirring, until thickened.

- 1 saucepan
Recipe Notes
I like my sauce thick so I use 3 tablespoons of cornflour. Try using 2 if you like a thinner sauce.
