This is a tasty slice with a coconut base and sultana topping.
Ingredients
- 150 g butter melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
Topping
- 2 egg
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cup sultanas
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C.

Step 2Combine butter, sugar, flour and coconut. Mix well.

Step 3Press mixture into a greased 20 cm x 30 cm tin and bake for 15 minutes.

Step 4Topping: Beat eggs and sugar with mixer for approximately 1-2 minutes.

Step 5Fold in baking powder, flour and sultanas.

Step 6Spread topping over base and bake for further 35-40 minutes.

Topping can be spread on base while it is still hot.
