Ingredients

  • 8 pork sausages
  • 1 tbs wholegrain mustard
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic
  • 3 tbs tomato paste
  • 400g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 tbs rice flour
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 tsp chilli minced *optional

Method

  • Step 1
    Spray slow cooker lightly with oil.
  • Step 2
    In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients, but the sausages and onion together to make a sauce.

  • Step 3
    Place sausages in the slow cooker with onion and sauce mixture. Move ingredients around, so the sausages are well coated.
  • Step 4
    Cook for 1 hour on high, then turn down to low for 2 hours.
  • Step 5
    Serve over a bed of mashed potato with a side of green vegetables.

Equipment

  • 1 slow cooker
Recipe Notes

Pork sausages are the best, but you can use any.

Can turn up the heat by adding more chilli or leave out completely.
