Such an easy soup to make for such a delicious end result. Always a hit on a cold day.
Ingredients
- 2 x 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 x 400 g canned chickpeas
- 1 bunch silverbeet cut into strips
- 4 tbs vegetable stock powder
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
Method

Step 1Add all ingredients to large saucepan.

Step 2Top up with water until saucepan is filled to approximately 3 cm from the top.

Step 3Bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.

Recipe Notes
I like to remove the stalk from the silverbeet. This is optional.
