This dish is made with traditionally-made Lebanese kishk and is a wonderful meal to enjoy with family and friends.
Ingredients
- 1 cup kishek powder
- 100g mince
- 1 large potato, cubed
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped coarsely
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cups cold water
Method

Step 1Place oil, meat, potatoes and garlic in a pot and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add kishk and mix well. Add the water and mix until there are no more lumps. Cook on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt and cook anther 5 minutes.

Step 2Serve with hot Lebanese bread and a side of olives.
