Cook Mode
Prevent your screen from going dark

Ingredients

  • 1 frankfurts
  • 1 potato small
  • 1/2 tsp parsley chopped
  • 1/4 onion diced small
  • 1 tbs extra tasty cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 seasoning
  • 1 butter melted

Method

  • Step 1
    Cook potato, mash well with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 2
    Add parsley, onion and cheese.
  • Step 3
    Mix until creamy.
  • Step 4
    Split saveloy/frankfurt until almost in half and flatten.
  • Step 5
    Pile potato mixture on top.
  • Step 6
    Brush with melted butter.
  • Step 7
    Top with bacon.
  • Step 8
    Bake in hot oven until golden brown.
Recipe Notes

Although recipe states to serve one, it can be adapted to make more servings. I prefer to use the English saveloy.
