Ingredients
- 1/4 cup wholemeal spelt flour
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 tbs cacao powder
- 1 banana mashed
- 5 tbs almond milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp extra virgin coconut oil
- 1 tsp maple syrup *to serve
- 1 banana sliced *to serve *extra
Method

Step 1Combine the flour, cacao, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl and combine.

Step 2In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs and then add to the flour mixture along with the banana and milk.

Step 3Heat a non-stick frypan to warm. Wipe the frypan with the coconut oil. Pour 2 tablespoons of mixture into pan, fitting as many as you can in the pan at once, and cook for 2 minutes, turn carefully and cook the other side. Continue until all the mixture has been used.

Step 4Top with sliced banana and a drizzle of 100% maple syrup.
