Ingredients

  • 500 g raw peanuts
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp pink liquid food colouring

Method

  • Step 1
    Place ingredients into a hot electric frypan.
  • Step 2
    Stir until the sugar crystallises.
  • Step 3
    Transfer into a large baking dish and stir with spoon for a minute to prevent nuts from sticking together.
  • Step 4
    Allow to cool.
Recipe Notes

I make these at Christmas - great for filling glasses, bowls or jars and to give as presents.

I used rose pink food colouring.
