Very easy, quick to make and the kids love it.
Ingredients
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 2 tbs plain flour
- 2 tsp orange rind grated
- 60 g soft butter
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 2 eggs
Orange icing
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 15 g soft butter
- 1 tbs orange juice
Method

Step 1Put sugar, flours and orange rind in processor with butter. Process until just combined.

Step 2Add orange juice then eggs, process until smooth.

Step 3Pour into a greased loaf pan lined with baking paper.

Step 4Bake at 180C for 35 minutes. Cool in pan.

Step 5Orange icing: Combine ingredients until smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
