These homemade Chinese pork dumplings are easy to make and incredibly addictive. Filled with juicy ground meat with bursts of fresh herbs and spices, balanced with dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- 250 g pork mince
- 1/2 cup wombok finely chopped
- 2 green onions finely chopped
- 2 tbs garlic chives chopped
- 2 cm ginger fresh grated
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 40 wonton wrappers
Dipping Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
Method

Step 1Combine pork, wombok, onions, chives, ginger, soy sauce and cornflour in a medium bowl. Season. Mix well.

Step 2Place one level teaspoon of the pork mixture onto the a corner of a wonton wrapper. Roll the mixture in the wrapper leaving a small 1 cm - 2 cm triangle of the bottom corner out flat.

Step 3Put some water on to the right hand side of the roll, then take the two sides, bring them up and placing ends on top of each other, pinch edges together.

Step 4Place half the dumplings in a saucepan of boiling water for several minutes until they float. Repeat for the remaining dumplings.

Step 5Place cooked dumplings in a strainer.

Step 6Combine the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a small bowl, and mix well.

Step 7Serve immediately.
