Knackwurst is a type of sausage of northern German origin and this recipe is very quick and easy.
Ingredients
- 250 g pearl couscous
- 3 knackwurst sausage
- 1 carrot large sliced
- 1 tsp sweet mild paprika
- 1 red capsicum sliced
- 1 yellow capsicum sliced
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 brown onion diced
- 2 tbs parsley chopped
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 pinch Vegeta Gourmet Vegetable Stock powder
- 1 pinch black pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Heat oil in a saucepan over medium heat, then add onion, carrot, knackwurst and cook until the carrot is soft. Add paprika and stir, then pour in stock.

Step 2Add pearl couscous and capsicum, and cook until soft. If necessary, add a splash of water. Add garlic, parsley and stir. Season with Vegeta Gourmet Stock and pepper.
