This classic combination of pasta, fetta, broccoli and chilli comes it under $2 a serve.
Ingredients
- 500g broccoli, trimmed
- 400g dried orrechiette pasta
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, crushed
- 3 small red chillies, seeded, finely chopped
- 125g reduced-fat Greek fetta, crumbled
Method

Step 1Cut broccoli into small florets.

Step 2Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling, salted water following packet directions, adding broccoli for the last 4 minutes of cooking time. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid. Return pasta and broccoli to pan.

Step 3Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and chilli. Cook, stirring, for 30 seconds or until fragrant. Remove pan from heat.

Step 4Add fetta and reserved liquid to pasta mixture. Stir to combine. Serve drizzled with oil mixture.
