Ingredients

  • 2 packet lemon jelly
  • 2 egg
  • 6 passionfruit
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Method

  • Step 1
    Make jelly using 2 cups boiling water and let cool (not set).
  • Step 2
    Beat eggs and sugar well.
  • Step 3
    Add milk and pulp from passionfruit.
  • Step 4
    Slowly stir cooled jelly into egg mixture.
  • Step 5
    Pour flummery mixture into a glass serving dish.
  • Step 6
    Allow several hours to set in fridge.
  • Step 7
    Serve with icecream and more passionfruit pulp if desired.
Recipe Notes

Always pour the jelly into the egg mixture, not the egg mix into the jelly! I don't know the scientific reason behind this but the flummery will curdle if this step is not done correctly.
