An easy and yummy way to eat mince and cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 tbs oil
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 6 cups beef stock (liquid)
- 2 cups rice
- 1 cup tasty cheese grated
- 2 tbs butter
Method

Step 1Fry the onions and garlic in the hot oil. Add the soy sauce and mince.

Step 2Cook until the mince begins to brown and the liquid from the meat has evaporated.

Step 3In a saucepan, bring the beef stock to the boil and add the rice.

Step 4Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes until the rice is almost cooked.

Step 5Mix the meat mixture with the rice and add the cheese.

Step 6Oil the inside of a casserole dish and pour in the mixture.

Step 7Press down on the surface until it is even, then place small pieces of butter on top.

Step 8Bake at 180C for 30 minutes, until a crust forms on top.
